Josh Voorhees wrote an article to Slate newspaper on  April 1, 2013 talking about the game last night between Louisville and Duke left the crowd and players shocked during the first half. Kevin Ware, a Louisville basketball player factured his right tibia. However, it was worse than it sounds. His leg practically snapped in half, someone even said his bone was six inches out. This injury was considered the worst injury in history with college sports. He got surgery right away and doctors say there is still hope that he will be able to play in one year. Although this may seem like a decade for a college player, it is considered a mircle that he will be able to play basketball again after that horrible injury. Ware´s teammates and coach were crying after they had seen what had happened. It left everyone speechless.

Josh Voorhees wrote a quick article on the shocking news that happened last night. Voorhees did a good job of explaining exactly what had happened however he could of gone a little deeper into the science part of how it happened and what Ware could of posabily done wrong to get that kind of result during the game. His tone is very serious yet also simpathetic. He talks about how Ware´s teammates and coaches were saddened by what had happened. Voorhees could have made his article more develped by using quotes from his teammates as to what they were thinking while this happened and also doctors who had done surgery on his leg and the results of the surgery.

  1. A few spelling mistakes, unclear pronoun usage and some 'and's towards the end. Details.
Good analysis, in general, especially with suggested improvements, but do look at specific devices a bit more.
