On November 26 of 2011 just 8-9 months ago, NASA laucnhed its newest rover named curiosity from Florida and is now headed to the planet Mars the preview of its landing schedule is to be at 1:30 eastern time on Monday August 6 . It will have some minutes of difficulty landing because of the several layers of the atmosphere of the planet mars, the new rover has the best cameras attached to it and many other instruments that are going to be used in order to dicover if mars craters has ever had a enviornmental comditions that are favorable for supporting life and studying if there were once life in any other planet than mars, the rover is planned to stay for 2 years in order to accomplish the study if everything goes according to the plan.
The author's purpose of writing this article is to inform the readers of the happenings beyond this earth. To get us interested and think about to progression of spacecrafts and rovers that are launched out of earth to see beyond what is existent here. The authors uses formal language to express the seriousness of this rover landing on planet Mars, but also does a good job showing the information that had to be given.
